My work has developed from an interest in anatomical and medical images, in perceptions of the internal body and a body/mind or physical/emotional split. Themes include perceptions of death and disease, the vulnerable nature of the body and life itself. I have been working directly with human skeletons, inspired by the beauty of their forms, as well as images of blood vessels and muscles.
