More recent work stems from observing Anopheles mosquitoes, inspired by the contradictory sense of their fragile, vulnerable forms which still cause so much human disease and death.
This work addresses themes around beauty and horror, fears of infection/ invasion/contamination and the feeding process itself; in turn evoking associations with invasive medical or scientific interventions. <back
