The exhibition title 'Foreign Bodies' was proposed by Central Saint Martins' students, deriving from their experience of relating to LSHTM, as artists entering the "body of science", for them a relatively alien environment.

The artworks cover a breadth of response including tangible objects of research, and concepts used in health research, explored through viewpoints reflecting a diversity of interests, positions and subjects.

A fully illustrated catalogue accompanies the exhibition with essays by artist and writer, Neil Chapman and medical historian, Kelly Loughlin.
